Gerrit Thomas Ferreira

Much like Laurie Dippenaar, G.T. Ferreira made his wealth in the financial services industry. After founding RCI (Rand Consolidated Investments) together with Laurie Dippennaar and Paul Harris, the trio grew it into what is today the FirstRand Group and RMB. G.T. Ferreira also owns 7.2% of RMB holdings which alone makes him worth about R2.8 billion (as at 24/08/2010).
